Sexual addiction transcends personality, gender, and socio-economic status.
Sex addicts are both rich and poor, intelligent and not so smart, black and white, teenagers and elderly, professionals and working class, and heterosexual and homosexual.
Sex addicts come from all walks of life: ministers, salespersons, accountants, therapists, dentists, politicians, or executives, to name just a few examples.
